Meet Dr. James Deaton

Dr. James E. Deaton received a degree in Biological Sciences from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in 1986. He continued his formal education at ETSU until receiving a Master of Sciences degree in 1990. While a graduate student, he served as a teaching and research assistant at the university’s biological sciences department.

Dr. Deaton began his chiropractic education in 1992. While completing this advanced degree, he joined the faculty and taught microbiology, the undergraduate studies program at Life University of Chiropractic in Atlanta. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995. He maintains licensure in the state of Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.

At Center For Physical Medicine

Dr. Deaton began his own practice in Fayetteville, TN in 1999. He has continued to build a family oriented facility that focuses on each patient’s overall health and unique needs. Through personal referrals, the Center for Physical Medicine has steadily grown into the practice it is today. Dr. Deaton and his staff are truly committed to providing patients with the highest quality and most complete chiropractic healthcare available.

In the Community

Dr. Deaton feels truly blessed to serve the Lincoln County area at the Center for Physical Medicine. He is a member of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, and has served as a past president of the Kiwanis Club.

He supports many civic, educational, and foundation fundraising efforts aimed at making the area a healthier and happier place to live.
